Skinny Beef Orders - now in 8 pound increments:
$
71.92

8 - one pound packages of Skinny Beef Ground Beef - $8.99 per pound.
Six Pounds makes 18 large 1/3 pound burgers. USDA inspected, Grass Fed and Grass Finished 98% Lean or better Ground Beef.

Shipped frozen in a foam insert with dry ice for $25.00 for eight pounds via FedEx 3 day or less service. Our new foam boxes accommodate increments of eight pounds better than six. The good news is your cost per pound total for a single order actually came down over $.20 per pound.
We typically ship on Mondays or Tuesdays in order to be sure that the beef doesn't sit in a delivery truck over the weekend and we are limited to the time that the dry ice will keep the meat frozen.

Note: We will not be shipping the week of 6/24/2013 - orders placed
between 6/18 and 6/24 will ship on 7/1/2013.
We apologize for any inconvenience...however, your order will still arrive in time for July 4th BBQ's!

A Value Proposition?!?

Several things to note as you ponder whether Skinny Beef ground beef is worth buying online with shipping costs, price per pound, etc. First, note that regular ground beef is made from the cuts of meat that don't deserve to be sold as any other cut...in other words, if it wasn't filet mignon, rib-eye, chuck roast, top sirloin, rib roast, etc. - then it becomes ground beef - not so with Skinny Beef...ALL cuts go into Skinny Beef ground beef rather than being sold as premium cuts at premium prices. Secondly, what are you paying for - meat or fat? I'm assuming you WANT meat...and NOT fat. With Skinny Beef you are paying for more meat per pound and less fat to the tune of 8% to 23% more meat per pound. Third, in order to get beef this lean, a combination of hits to the "yield" per steer happen, a smaller skinny steer costs the same per head for processing, but with less yield, and the little fat that there is on our steers is removed rather than included, thus further reducing our yield. Fourthly, these cattle are harder to get and going up in price. Last but not least: what price can you put on your health? What is the national cost of blocked arteries, high cholesterol, and obesity? Eating healthier foods, regardless of whether it is better for you meat, or organic vegetables, or quality supplements, cost more due to the higher cost of foods that are not mass produced. So, hopefully you will see the value in our product, we sure do, so join the Skinny Beef consumer family with us. It is worth it!

New label is here! The USDA plant just approved the following label!

Picture

The product you are ordering after March of 2013 will have my own custom label. The USDA plant has agreed that my beef is always 98% lean or better, and they have agreed to label it as such. Up until my last batch, my beef was labeled 95% lean as that was the leanest formula they had.

However, after doing business with me for two years now, they agree that my beef is leaner than their leanest formula and they are now custom labeling my beef at 98% Lean!

You don't have to rely on my lab reports any longer, the USDA inspector tested the fat at the USDA facility and came up with a 1.5 % average fat content.
