My Skinny Calves:

The funny thing is that I have skinny calves in more ways than one! Which reminds me of an analogy, especially for you bodybuilders: Since I have skinny calves genetically, no matter how many protein drinks I drink, or calf exercises I do, or if I inject steroids, etc., I am somewhat limited genetically! The same principle applies to our specially selected, skinny sport cattle. We do not feed them high protein, high energy grain, or give them growth hormones...because what is there to grow? These sport cattle are genetically skinny, athletic animals that have a low percentage of body fat, well toned muscles, and they love to run, and actually exercise themselves in the pasture. This is what makes them perfect for cowboy sports like roping, sorting and cutting. These cattle are only fed grass or grass hay, and often times just chase each other around the pasture as they don't have to eat constantly to maintain the 1,000+ pounds of weight of the normal beef steer.
These skinny cows are the secret to Skinny Beef premium ground beef. They just plain produce it naturally by being their skinny selves. They go straight from the pasture to the plate, so you have naturally fresh, grass fed, grass finished, naturally super lean beef in your freezer for some of the best burgers and ground beef for all kinds of lean dishes.
